As he nears the end of his storied career, LeBron James has already given NBA fans a hint as to when he could hang up his cleats. James can still become the best player in the NBA on any given night as he enters his 20th season of professional basketball. After a terribly poor previous season, the Lakers have had a disastrous start to this one. James might be contemplating his future, at the very least, with the team and possibly his professional life.

   

Of course, the most likely possibility is that he stays with the Lakers with the anticipation that the organization will effectively reload its squad during the upcoming season. King James will undoubtedly try to leave if that doesn\’t happen in 2024. In addition to the fact that James will then be a free agent, his son Bronny James will also join the league. And James has admitted he wants to play with his son before he quits. First-round draught prospect Bronny will choose between playing in college or the G-league in the upcoming months.

However, James said in 2016 that his three children would decide when he retired. According to James, his children will take the decision for him. He said that because of his schedule, he had to miss so many of his children\’s sporting events. His kids will decide how to fund his retirement. James believes that his children will decide when to put his boots away for good. With his wife, Savannah, James has two additional kids: Bryce, 15, and Zhuri, 8. Additionally, they had lived in Los Angeles since he joined the Lakers in 2018 when they moved there.

LeBron James committed to a two-year agreement with the Lakers last year in order to stay in Los Angeles. When they both become free agents in the summer, he allegedly hopes to sign Kyrie Irving and Draymond Green to the squad. Furthermore, James has made it known that he wants to own an NBA team in terms of his post-career goals. Along with pleading with NBA commissioner Adam Silver, he is publicly going for the Las Vegas team.
