Brooklyn Nets are enjoying a dream run at the moment, having won 16 of the last 17 games. After a rocky start, the team picked up the pace by onboarding a new head coach Jacque Vaughn. However, the team had to deal with a lot of controversies during the first half of the season.

Kyrie Irving is known to make headlines every now and then for all the good and wrong reasons. A couple of months back, Irving entangled himself in a self-ignited controversy over a social media post. As an aftermath, he was suspended and had to miss eight games. However, even after all the bad PR, his performance has managed to keep the point guard relevant on the court. Now, Irving is back in the headlines owing to recent transfer news.

Kyrie Irving To Reunite With LeBron James At LA Lakers?

According to recent transfer rumors, the Nets’ superstar, Kyrie Irving, is currently in talks with LA Lakers for a possible trade. Despite having a terrific ongoing season with Brooklyn Nets, the guard will most likely be a free agent this summer. On top of that, he might be headed to reunite with his former Cleveland Cavalier teammate, LeBron James, at LA Lakers.

According to an NBA executive wishing to stay anonymous, Kyrie Irving will most likely join Los Angeles Lakers during the summer trade window. With Anthony Davis sitting out due to injury, LeBron is missing a partner. Hence, Irving could be the perfect fit for the missing wheel. Moreover, he could unite with James and produce miracles for the Lakers. Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook might be on his way out for the Lakers, and the latter have the opportunity to bring Kyrie Irving on board.
