Anthony Davis, the star of the Los Angeles Lakers, sent out a stern warning to Patrick Beverley ahead of their highly anticipated matchup on Sunday.

Los Angeles Lakers parted ways with point guard Patrick Beverley last month during the trade deadline. However, the bad blood was out in the open as the guard took multiple potshots at his ex-team. He claimed tensions in the Lakers’ locker room led to the team’s downfall this season. Patrick also alleged that the Lakers’ issues as a unit are way far away from basketball.

Meanwhile, the LA Lakers, who are on a winning spree for the moment, are set to take on Chicago Bulls, Patrick’s current team, on Sunday. The two teams will face each other twice in the same week. Moreover, the stakes are high for the purple and gold as they look to book a spot in the playoffs. After Saturday’s win, they breached into the top 8 in the Western Conference. However, Beverley intends to ruin their party.

Chicago Bulls point guard, Patrick Beverley, has been going around making multiple controversial claims about his ex-team, the Lakers. First, he started out by calling out friction within the locker room. Moreover, he said he felt disrespected by the seniors on the team during his stay in Hollywood. Pat Bev recently appeared on a podcast wherein he was asked about his plans for the upcoming clash with purple and gold. Beverley responded quickly, saying he plans to ruin their playoff push and will ensure they do not qualify.

Responding to the statement, Lakers star forward Anthony Davis challenged Patrick back. He said many teams have tried to stall their playoff run, and the point guard wanting the same changes nothing. AD further added he is ready for the challenge and invited Patrick to come and try to ruin the Lakers’ playoff dream.

Davis certainly did not hold back on his emotions as he looked pumped to carry the Lakers to the finish line by hook or crook. On the other hand, the Lakers and the Bulls have a long history of intense matchups, and Sunday’s game is expected to be no different. Both teams are eyeing playoff position, and a win could go a long way in securing their place in the postseason.

Fans Hail Davis’ Monsterous Performance To Help Lakers Secure A Crucial Win

Anthony Davis once again took center stage as he unleashed carnage against the Thunder on Friday night. Davis bossed the game with 37 points, 1 assist, and 15 rebounds. Moreover, Dennis Schroder and Lonnie Walker IV walked off the bench and provided much-needed assistance with 21 and 20 points, respectively. The win helped the Lakers become the 8th-seed team in the Western Conference table.

Meanwhile, the fans were pumped up and took to Twitter to hail Anthony Davis for his exceptional play. They praised AD for silencing his critics who targeted him for showing a lack of intent. Regardless, the job is still far from done for the Lakers. They need to advance from this position or maintain it to the least to have a shot at the playoffs this season.
