LeBron James was heartbroken after the humiliating loss against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. Moreover, he even gave a couple of hints that he would retire soon. At least he gave some thought to it for sure this offseason. However, it still does not feel right for James to retire so soon. Albeit, he is 38, at the twilight of his career. But he did not show any sign of slowing down in his 20th season. Albeit, he did stay off the court for a month due to a tendon injury. He needed to undergo surgery to fix his injury completely.

But LeBron James waited a while to return to the court and complete the 2022-23 season. He led the Lakers to the conference finals. But it did not end on a happy note. Hence, the fans worried about his future and will the King represent the Lakers again. Lately, King James clearly stated that he wants to win his fifth title this season so that he does not leave it too late.

   

James Posts A Surprising Instagram Story To Excite Fans

On Tuesday, LeBron James posted an Instagram video with the caption, “Prime Time Year.” It is clear that King James is hungry and eager to win his fifth ring and help the Los Angeles Lakers win their 18th title. He also added on that Instagram Video, stating, “Let’s just get it. It’s just working.” Hence, LeBron James is working night and day to get ready for his 21st season. He will be 39 this December. It will get tougher to play with a tendon injury on his right foot. The Lakers Nation will hope he stays healthy. Moreover, the 17-time champions will need the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis to repeat their 2019-20 feat.

Can this duo win another title for the Los Angeles Lakers? Both Davis and James have not been in sound health last two years. However, the Laker’s front office has done a great job this offseason to have a lot of depth and balance in their roster. Moreover, the offseason activities of the LA side were also another reason to entice LeBron James to come back for another season. Anyway, both Davis and James have one more year in their contracts with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Moreover, his elder son, Bronny James, suffered cardiac arrest. Hence, it has been a pretty difficult time for the James family recently. However, LeBron James is looking to get ready for the 2023-24 season. A few days back, King James shared images on social media of him training with his younger son, Bryce.

In those images, he also unveiled the new Nike shoes, LeBron 21. Moreover, LeBron James revealed his aim to play for a longer time when he gave a speech at the ESPY Awards. He clearly mentioned that he still is willing to give a lot of his energy and mind to the game of basketball. Hence, King James is getting ready to appear in his 21st NBA season.
