The New York Yankees’ record since the away series against the Boston Red Sox has been shambolic, to say the least. They lost 16 of the last 22 games and have lost the advantage they had when they became the first team in the league to clock 50 wins.

Moreover, with the second half approaching, the New York Yankees are expected to buckle up and fall back to winning ways to keep the postseason boat afloat. Meanwhile, amid concerns of the slump further deepening, Juan Soto, the Yankee generational star, revealed how the team is weathering the storm inside the clubhouse.

The New York Yankees are currently in the worst phase of the season as they scummed to 6-16 in the last 22 games. After being the first teams to get 50 wins, the Yanks haven’t been themselves since. They lost 8 series on the trot and were part of a couple of shambolic losing streaks. Needless to say, the fans are concerned about the postseason aspirations. However, generational star Juan Soto expressed the team’s ability to overcome their current struggles and emerge stronger. In a recent interview, Soto revealed that the team is self-aware and understands the gravity of the losing streak. However, Soto says it’s also important to keep the energy up and believe in the everyday grind.

“I think the energy is still up, we’re still believing and grinding every day,” Juan Soto said. Not only that, the generational star added that the New York Yankees will continue to play with the same energy and passion each day to enforce a turnaround. Soto confirmed that the team is weathering the storm just right and that their spirits are positive. Notably, the Yankees have a storied history of overcoming adversity and performing well under pressure. Soto’s confidence in the team is backed by their track record of bouncing back from tough situations. The organization’s culture of excellence and winning mentality can serve as a catalyst for their recovery. And Soto has witnessed this energy firsthand at the Yankee clubhouse this year. Hence, he has the belief and faith in his team to regain the winning momentum sooner than later.

The New York Yankees star slugger Juan Soto suffered bruises on his hand last month and was forced to skip a game. However, with the right medication and negative X-ray reports, Soto was able to return back to the lineup in no time. However, in the aftermath of his recent slump, Aaron Boone revealed that Soto’s injury is yet to be fully healed.

Aaron Boone said that after the 2-1 win over the Rays, Juan Soto experiences discomfort in his swing every now and then. But reaffirmed that its not something the team is much concerned about. “He’s definitely been grinding through some things, but not something that I think any of us are too worried about,” Boone said.
