Jordan Poole Stood Out In Lakers VS Warriors!
Following Draymond Green\’s hit on Jordan Poole during practice last week, the Golden State Warriors have had a turbulent few days. The presence of a basketball to watch made Dub Nation pleased, given the unrest. The Warriors dropped to 2-1 in the preseason after Friday\’s 124-121 loss to the Lakers.
Since their altercation, Jordan Poole has blazed for the Golden State Warriors in his first NBA contest. Poole didn\’t pull any punches when competing in a preseason game, scoring 25 points and dishing out six assists. And pulling down four rebounds on Sunday, October 9. However, his performance resulted in a 124-121 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
After TMZ released a video of Poole and Green fighting during a team practice, the two became the talk of the town. In the video, Green grabbed Poole and gave him a chest bump before Poole shoved him. To which Green responded by throwing a violent blow. In less than an hour, Jordan Poole was back on the practice court after taking a blow to the face from Draymond Green. Meanwhile, Draymond Green was suspended from the squad as part of his punishment for the incident last week.
Although, Draymond expressed his regret for the great humiliation the act has brought onto Poole, his family, and the Warriors franchise. Green said in his public apologies, \”I made a mistake with my acts. And for that, I\’ve expressed regret to Jordan and my squad.\”
Steve Kerr Addresses Jordan Poole\’s Contract Extension!
On Sunday, Jordan Poole once again proved why he is such an important asset for the Golden State Warriors side, along with Steph Curry. However, his current contract with the team is coming to an end in the future. As the club, that is already the most lucrative team in league history. The Golden State Warriors will confront one of the most difficult payroll scenarios in NBA history.
