In these eight years, Lewis Hamilton won six titles, equaling the great Michael Schumacher’s title wins. But from 2021, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen started dominating the grid. Since 2022, Red Bull has won two more constructor titles.
But all these years, Toto Wolff and Christian Horner never missed an opportunity to take a go at each other. It has been either Mercedes or Red Bull, Toto Wolff or Christian Horner. Recently, Christian Horner told Sky Sports F1 that he worries that Mercedes is plotting redemption and might be very competitive next season.
Christian Horner Worries Mercedes Will Make A Strong Comeback Soon
Drawing from his own experience, Christian Horner empathizes with Toto Wolff, his rival. Moreover, the Red Bull boss mentioned Mercedes will be bringing the fight to them soon. Also, talking about rivalry, Horner mentioned that, according to him, sport is about rivalries. There must be respect, but what is a sport without any rivalry? But the sport has seen only Red Bull’s hegemony since last year. However, Christian Horner says the Mercedes team is strong, and they must be planning to bounce back next season.

Red Bull has already won the current constructor championship.
However, there are still six more races to go. That’s the level of dominance Horner and his team have been enjoying so far. The RB19 car has proved to be the fastest in the ongoing season. They have lost only one race so far after 16 Grands Prix. Max Verstappen might confirm his third title victory in a row at the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix.
