Before this season, the Red Bull team stormed through each racing circuit. Since the introduction of the ground effect rule, winning was the only outcome on RBR’s strategy playbook, as they have consistently outclassed every rival. However, after nearly sweeping every trophy, the momentum shifted. The team now finds itself in a surging storm, disrupting its domination. As a result, the team has gone winless in seven consecutive F1 rounds for the first time in the last three years.

But what went wrong for an unstoppable force? Well, it wasn’t just one domain that went awry. The situation took a dramatic turn when Christian Horner got embroiled in a sexual misconduct case, opening the gates of chaos. The fire quickly spread through the RBR management, igniting a power struggle within the team. This was among the biggest reasons team staff was unhappy with the management. Thus, some key personnel started to leave the setup one by one. Following yet another dramatic exit, Max Verstappen’s father poses searing questions to Christian Horner & Co.

The Red Bull’s exit door was first used by Adrian Newey, who ended his two-decade-long stint. He was the reason behind RBR’s consistent performance and was among the most influential car designers. Recently, he was signed by Aston Martin to revive its ambitious project as a technical manager. Subsequently, Jonathan Wheatley was lured by Audi’s team principal role. The departure of RBR’s sporting director has left a significant void within the team. Just as Red Bull reorganized its staff roles, another key figure left the setup. This time, it was Will Courtenay, the race strategist, who McLaren poached. The consistent resource plunder by the rivals is denting the Milton Keynes-based outfit. Therefore, Mx Verstappen’s father, Jos Verstappen, lashed out at RBR management amid resource drainage.

The Former Dutch driver publicly bashed the RBR management, including Christian Horner. In an interview with Motorsport.com, Jos Verstappen revealed that he had warned the team about this potential fallout. He referred to an old statement where he accused Christian Horner of “tearing the team apart.” Moreover, being a father, he doesn’t like it when Max gets a flurry of questions about this topic. Ultimately, he slammed Horner again, saying, “He glosses over it,” which simply means the RBR chief is not ready to accept his mistake.
