That’s when Toto knew Hamilton would switch to Ferrari. Then, Wolff mentioned that the Ferrari boss did not tell him anything. Perhaps Lewis Hamilton wanted to tell Toto Wolff himself before everyone else. Later, Toto Wolff joked about Fred Vasseur not doing a great job telling him when he eventually called him. Anyhow, Toto mentioned that there is no hard feelings between him and Vasseur. They have been friends for a long time.
But they also know they are competitors on the track. Moreover, the balancing act is not always easy, feels Wolff. It is their duty and obligation to perform to the best of their abilities for the interest of their respective team. Moreover, Toto Wolff mentioned that he understands the rationale as in how the Ferrari boss acted in that situation. On top of that, Wolff said it is not always easy to know how to handle such situations. But most importantly, Wolff believes there are no repercussions or effects on his and Vasseur’s friendship.
Hamilton In Ferrari Next Year
After a long and successful collaboration with Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton is ready to start a new chapter in his F1 career. He will start wearing the iconic Red uniform in 2025, replacing Carlos Sainz Jr. Hamilton signed a multi-year contract with the iconic Italian team.
