The email accused Mercedes of ‘sabotaging’ Hamilton and favoring George Russell over his teammate.
However, it all started in Monaco when Hamilton made a shocking revelation. During the post-race interview, the Briton said he could not outqualify teammate George Russell. His statement suggested the team favors Russell and undermines the seven-time world champion. Further, the fans speculated this could be due to Hamilton’s Ferrari move, and a row of cynical comments began. However, the young British racer has opened up about the entire conundrum. Russell feels the whole narrative had been spun out of context to induce hate on the German Marque.
