Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton have been part of the New York Yankees for a long time. They were the best power hitters of the NY side until Juan Soto joined the team last offseason. Now, the team has three great power hitters, and if they can perform at their finest, the offense will be unquestionably good. With these three great sluggers, the Bronx Bombers can see some hope of reaching the World Series this year. But health and consistency will play a big factor going to the playoffs. Moreover, the Judge-Soto duo has been really good this year.

It has helped the Yankees stay in the top two spots of the American League East division. However, the Pinstripes will also need Giancarlo Stanton to provide the extra depth and boost in the offense. But media and fans have often questioned Stanton’s health issues in the last few years. However, in the last offseason, Stanton has worked hard to get slimmer and fitter. Lately, those efforts of the former MVP have been paying off.

Xavier Scruggs, an MLB Analyst, believes Giancarlo Stanton has the ability to produce numbers comparable to the Yankees captain. On September 3, the former Miami Marlins 2017 MVP went long against the defending World Series champions, the Texas Rangers. In the top of the eighth inning, Stanton hit a long home run, which was his 25th HR of the season. So far, he has played over 95 games. Moreover, the Designated Hitter of the New York Yankees made a new milestone when he surpassed Mike Trout from the Los Angeles Angels to have the most seasons with 25 or more home runs. It was his tenth season with 25 single-season HRs. Previously, the MLB record belonged to Trout, who had nine seasons with 25 or more homers.

Recently, on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM, MLB analyst Xavier Scruggs mentioned that when Stanton’s hot, it feels different. Moreover, Scruggs said that Stanton gets close to Judge level hot. The difference between Judge and Stanton is consistency. If Stanton can find some consistency, then he can become unstoppable, feels Xavier. Moreover, the analyst said that fans or media should not undermine the DH if he can give the Yankees some sort of power consistency. So far, in September, Giancarlo Stanton has enjoyed a great start, hitting a couple of solo home runs against the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers.

Recently, in an interview with the Washington Post, Giancarlo Stanton mentioned that it feels pretty cool to set new MLB records. The Designated Hitter wants to add as much as he can to his career as he comes at the fag end of the ride. Most importantly, the 2017 National League MVP mentioned that as long as he can help his team win, nothing else matters at the moment.

If Stanton can stay healthy over the next three years, he can achieve the 500 home run milestone. Moreover, it will increase his chances of being accepted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Then, it would mean the Yankees currently have three future Hall of Famers – Judge, Soto and Stanton.
