New York Yankees have begun their World Series quest with a powerful performance. They stand second on the Al-East table with a record of 12-7. While the season still has a long way to go, the Bombers certainly look poised to make a deep postseason run. For what it’s worth, the New York-based team has been gunning for a championship title since 2009.

Despite making it to the playoffs for the past five consecutive years, the New York Yankees have failed to edge past the competitors, especially the Houston Astros. However, this season, their performance as a unit has looked much better. It’s just the constant injury issues that look concerning. Apart from that, all looks good. Moreover, the recent series win has boosted the confidence of the fans.

The New York Yankees took on the Los Angeles Angels in a much-anticipated matchup. The battle was fought between the MVP candidates of 2022, Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani. Meanwhile, the Bombers, who survived the series loss scare against the Minnesota Twins last week, came out with too little offense. The Yankees started the series with a 2-5 loss on Wednesday, owing to a strong performance from the two-way player Shohei Ohtani. They came back strongly with a 3-2 win on Thursday, thanks to Aaron Judge, who scored one run and two RBIs. The team’s sealed the series on Friday with a strong 9-3 win owing to stellar defensive play from Aaron Judge and Isiah Kiner-Falefa.

Meanwhile, the fans looked super excited and took to Twitter to express their emotion. The recent injury concerns have somewhat stressed the fans who are rooting or the Yankees to break the 13-year World Series jinx this year. However, with the exceptional comeback, the fans finally got a reason to smile. Overall, the Yankees’ recent success has fans feeling optimistic about the team’s chances this season. While there is still plenty of baseball to be played, the team’s strong pitching and offense have been encouraging signs. If the team can stay healthy and continue to play at a high level, they could become a force to be reckoned with in the American League.

Bombers Script History With The Series Win Against Angels

The New York Yankees are yet to lose a series this season. They faced a big scare last week against the Minnesota Twins but settled for a tie. Moreover, with the win against the Los Angeles Angels, it’s the third time that the Yankees have managed not to concede a defeat in the first six series of the season in the past 67 years. Surely it’s a feat the Bombers will celebrate in the clubhouse.

Keeping the number game aside, the New York Yankees have done an exceptional job by keeping the team together amid massive injury concerns. Most of the team’s regular players remain missing from the lineup. However, in the absence, the depth had done a wonderful job and stepped up when the team needed the most.
