Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Medes are gunning for a Manchester United exit this summer as the Portuguese aims for a Champions League appearance next season. CR7 returned to Old Trafford after 12 years and signed a two-year contract with the club. However, Ronaldo is not willing to see through his contract with hopes of laying in the European League. Cristiano gave the Red Devils some immaculate action on the field, scoring 24 goals across all competitions. However, the Red Devils secured their lowest ever points last season, finishing sixth in the Premier League. Moreover, with the lack of transfer activities this summer from United\’s new manager Erik ten had, Ronaldo expressed his desire to leave the club last month.

Despite the Portuguese\’s desire to leave, Erik ten Hag specified during the pre-season conference on Sunday that Cristiano Ronaldo isn\’t for sale. However, CR7 has not joined the United squad for the pre-season games. He remains on indefinite leave, citing personal reasons. However, it looks like Ronaldo might have finally found a way out of Old Trafford with a recent offer from an anonymous Saudi Arabia club.

As per CNN Portugal, Ronaldo has been approached by a Gulf club, offering him a £250M, two-year contract. The deal would earn the 37-year-old a staggering £2.4million per week, making him the highest-paid football player in the world. So, if Ronaldo decides to move to Saudi Arabia, he will earn more than Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Neymar Jr. combined. But, everything will depend on Manchester United and if Ronaldo will be able to convince them to let him go.

Will Manchester United Agree To Ronaldo\’s Transfer Request?

Recently, Erik ten Hag made it clear that United has plans for Ronaldo. And they have no interest in putting him on the market. Moreover, the transfer window is closing for Cristiano, with Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and PSG pulling out of potential signing discussions.

Hag & Ronaldo

The United\’s manager is looking forward to working with the five-time Ballon d\’Or winner. Hag stated, \”Cristiano is not for sale. He is in our plans, and we want success together. I spoke with him before this issue came up. I had a conversation with him and i had a good talk.\”

Thus, the offer from the Saudi Arabian club seems to be the only way out for Ronaldo at this moment. And it will be interesting to see if the Red Devils choose to let him go with such a lucrative offer on the table.
