Under the command of the former Indian captain, MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings hit the grounds in Dubai to begin their training for the rest of the IPL 2021. The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League was postponed earlier this year due to the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. But now the tournament is all set for the resumption. Moreover, its very first match will take place between the long-time rivals, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
The team of CSK doesn\’t want to resume their journey with a loss. Hence their team already began their net practice in Dubai. CSK is among the first few teams who reached the venue and started training for the IPL. The official Twitter account of Chennai Super Kings is quite active. It has been providing continuous updates on the team\’s training sessions. It began with the account of a group picture that captioned \”Huddle Hustle.\” CSK Twitter handle posted several other pictures as well. In it, we can see the beloved MS Dhoni with his bats. In one of the pictures, it seems like he is giving advice to his best friend and teammate Suresh Raina.
The entire team arrived in Dubai on August 13 to start their training campaign. Along with the training, they are enjoying and bonding in Dubai as well. Recently, the Instagram handle of Chennai Super Kings posted a video when the entire went out for dinner. They enjoyed a great meal and posed for pictures as well. The great thing is this team the members are allowed to take their families with them to UAE. However, last year they didn\’t get permission to bring their family members along with them.
Before the IPL 2021 was halted due to the second wave of the pandemic, Chennai Super Kings was performing really great. The team was in the second position with 10 points on the points table. CSK is only behind Delhi Capitals, who had a total of 12 points. Mumbai Indians is in the third position. But now they are looking forward to climbing up on the points table as their next match is against Chennai Super Kings. Now, it will be interesting to see who will get the win this time in the El Clasico of IPL that will take place on September 19.
