However, Gerrit Cole was sitting next to Blake Snell on the dias the previous night. Cole said it was interesting, but sorry for all the Yankees fans. It could have been something similar to how Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton were sitting on the dias for dinner, desserts, awards, and acceptance speeches six years ago. Hence, the boss can make a late push using those funds to the playoffs.
