CHECKOUT: Yankees Giancarlo Stanton Makes Bold Prediction On Aaron Judge’s Future Home Run Record!

Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees captain, earned the nickname “Home Run King” after smashing an all-time high league record of 62 homers in 2022. Since his rookie season in 2017, Judge has been hitting long balls like a child’s play. Even this year, he kicked off the season with a bang and hit a homer in the very first at-bat.

However, Captain Judge failed to follow through due to injury setbacks. A toe injury robbed him of two months of game time, which ceased his home run tally. Recently, the Yankees captain made a strong back and returned back to business. Last week, he smashed another record, which left his teammate, Giancarlo Stanton, in awe.

Last weekend, the New York Yankees were up against rivals Houston Astros where the whole Bombers lineup put up a startling show. Hitters and pitchers collectively stood up to secure a thumping series sweep. Meanwhile, the captain Aaron Judge stole the show. He hit a gigantic 400-foot homer to bring up his 250th career home run. Moreover, Judge set up a record of being the fastest slugger to unlock the feat. It took him a mere 810 appearances to set up yet another home run record. Naturally, his teammates were beaming in joy, especially Giancarlo Stanton. The slugger said that he was not surprised to see the captain achieve such big things as he always had that ability in him.

“Obviously, from the years that I played with him and watching him his rookie year, it’s just incredible what he’s been able to do,” added Giancarlo Stanton. Big G further took it a notch higher and predicted Aaron Judge to be the fastest to breach the 300 and 350th home run mark. While Stanton is elated, the captain downplayed his own accomplishment. While he felt cool to be in the same category as Ryan Howard, who previously held the record, it’s something Judge intends not to think about. “I don’t think it means too much. I think doing it in a win means more,” said Judge. For the Yankees captain, winning matters the most, especially in the midst of an underwhelming season. At the end of the day, he was happy with the series sweep, and all the other personal accolades ceased to exist.

Aaron Judge’s first season as the New York Yankees captain didn’t turn out as expected. The team is set on a path to record a losing season for the first time since 2016. Naturally, it’s tough on Judge, who has never witnessed the Bombers in such dire conditions. Having said that, the captain has not lost hope.

In a recent interview, Aaron Judge assured of a strong comeback. While being in a tough situation is not a good feeling, Judge promised to get things fixed for the 2024 season. The slugger believes that it’s a part of baseball, and sometimes, these setbacks are necessary to build character. Let’s see if Judge is able to live up to his word.
