Aaron Judge has been leading the New York Yankees to a great regular season performance, as it seems. The fans in the Bronx have a lot of faith in their captain. Moreover, the way things have been going, the Pinstripes should not have any problem in making the postseason this year. Last year, things were just not going in the favor of the NY side. They had one of the worst records in their franchise history. Bombers were 82-80 in 2023. They finished fourth in the American League East division. Moreover, there were a lot of injury concerns, including the Yankees captain. Aaron Judge suffered a torn ligament near his right toe that he believes will take almost the rest of his career to fix.

However, owing to the toe injury, he stayed out for almost two months in 2023. Since there was no Juan Soto in the lineup last season and Judge on the Injured List, the Bronx Bombers suffered because of a very weak offense. Coming back to 2024, the combination of Juan Soto and Aaron Judge is doing miracles for the NY side. Moreover, Judge is leading the HR list this season despite a slow start. Lately, he became the fastest MLB hitter in history to record 300 Home Runs.

Fans believe Aaron Judge could have reached the 300 HR milestone two to three games faster. But lately, opponent teams have been using the trick to intentionally walk the Yankees captain. That trick kind of slowed Judge down a little bit. However, the Chicago White Sox made the mistake to intentionally walk Juan Soto that, drove his partner in baseball crime mad. As a result, the 300th Home Run of the California native came in his team’s 10-2 victory against the MLB-worst White Sox. Aaron Judge is proving again why he is an asset to the 27-time World Series-winning franchise. Now, the Yankees are trying to keep him happy when he is enjoying another MVP-caliber season.

Can Judge win his 2nd AL MVP this year? As per USA Today, Aaron Judge is the fastest player to hit 300 Home Runs, surpassing Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner. Ralph was able to reach the 300 HR milestone in 1,087 games. But Aaron Judge took only 955 games to get there. The RHP of the White Sox, Chad Kuhl, was at the receiving end when Judge got to his 300th homer. The Yankees captain hit Kuhl in the eighth inning of his 955th game to reach the 300 HR milestone. Again, AJ proved why he is one of the best sluggers in the game, arguably of all time.

Since June 13, the New York Yankees had been facing a slump. They went 6-16 in the rest of June. Later, in July, they went 4-8 until the Midsummer Classic. After the All-Star break, the NY side gradually started to turn things around again. Currently, they are second in the American League East Division behind the Baltimore Orioles.

Albeit, both Yankees and Orioles are 72-50, the O’s have a home games win record advantage. The Bronx Bombers have a 32-27 home record, whereas the Baltimore side has 36-26. Hence, Aaron Boone’s side is giving a close fight to the O’s for winning the AL East.
