Aaron Judge scared the New York Yankees fans with a slow start to the 2024 regular season. Last season, he hurt his toe really bad after a freak accident during a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at their fence. Later, it turned out to be a torn ligament. As a result, he had to miss 35 games on the trot. Without the captain for almost two months, it was not good for the NY side. Eventually, they could not make the postseason for the first time since 2016. Albeit, in the later stage of the 2023 regular season, the captain had returned to the lineup.

But that was just not enough to redeem the team that season. However, the Yankees made a lot of changes ahead of the current season. So far, those changes are looking good. Moreover, Aaron Judge is slowly getting back to his groove after an early season slump. Clearly, he is not 100% healthy with the severe toe injury last year. Then, in the spring training, he suffered an abs injury. But at the moment, Judge is displaying a lot of improvement. Moreover, the Yankees captain said he is happy that the team is winning.

On Thursday, the NY side lost to the Houston Astros 4-3. Only Anthony Volpe and Aaron Judge managed to hit home runs. But it was not enough to help the team win. However, Judge’s homer was the longest of the season, leaving Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels behind. Moreover, even with the loss on Thursday, the Yankees managed to win the series 2-1. After all, throughout the series, the offense has been performing really well. In the Game 1 of the series, the NY side beat the Astros 10-3. Later, in Game 2, the Bronx Bombers won 9-4. Only in the last game of the series, the offense could not fire as well as they did in the last two games. But Judge’s 473-foot home run was the highlight of Game 3. Nevertheless, Aaron Judge credited the impact of Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton, especially after Game 2.

On Wednesday, for the first time, the three power hitters of the Yankees slugged homers, and they went really deep. After Game 2, Aaron Judge said credit goes to Soto for getting the party started. Moreover, the Yankees captain believes something special is going to happen this season. After Soto’s two-run homer, Judge praised Stanton for his hardest-hit homer of 2024. The Yankees captain said Stanton outdid himself on Wednesday. Moreover, Judge added that it has been fun to watch Stanton do his thing in 2024. Finally, Aaron Judge said in the post-game interview on Wednesday that good things are happening as the team is winning.

After a slow start to the 2024 regular season, Aaron Judge is gradually proving that he is still among the best hitters in baseball. Moreover, the NY side’s captain is one of the top home run hitters for his team in the current regular season. He is only trailing his partner in baseball crime, Juan Soto, who has hit nine home runs already.

Moreover, Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge have hit the same number of home runs so far. Both hit eight home runs until Wednesday’s game against the Astros. In the last 11 games, Judge is batting .385. Clearly, it is time the fans get to see All Rise at his finest.
