In a post-game interview, Boone said that Soto thrives in any situation. “In any situation, he’s about as good as it gets,” Boone said. The skipper added how Juan Soto loves being in the moment, and that’s who he is as a prolific hitter.

Furthermore, Aaron Boone added that the series sweep against the Detroit Tigers was precious for his soul as the achievement is rare these days. Notably, the Tigers sweep was the Yankees’ first one of the seasons at home. It helped the team strengthen its position in the competitive AL-East table, which is still led by defending division champions, the Baltimore Orioles.
