The New York Yankees had been through several memorable games over the years. However, the most memorable moments must be those times when they won a record 27 World Series titles. The NY side truly is one of the most recognized sporting brands in the world. Nobody in the history of the MLB came close to the dominance of the Bronx Bombers over a century. However, they have not won a World Series since 2009. They have not even reached the “Big Dance” since the last time they won the whole thing. That’s why, over the years, the Yankees Nation has only experienced disappointments.

However, the fans try to find some joy and happiness when the Bronx Bombers win against their rivals. Moreover, the biggest rival for the Yankees in the history of the major league is the Boston Red Sox. It started with the Boston franchise trading the GOAT Babe Ruth to the Yankees. Since then, the curse of the Bambino did not allow the Red Sox to win the World Series until 2004. Anyway, quite recently, a new rivalry, compared to the century-old rivalry with the Red Sox, started between the Yankees and the Houston Astros. One of those rivalry moments included Aaron Judge in 2021.

During a three-game series between the Astros and the Yankees at Minute Maid Park in 2021, Aaron Judge took the pitcher Zack Greinke deep into the center field. Then, he got together his jersey while rounding up the third base. This incident resembled an incident that happened two years ago. In 2019, Jose Altuve made the Yankees captain upset when he walked off to win the ALCS clash for the Astros. Later, the incident between Aaron Judge and Zack Greinke resembled something Altuve did after hitting the home run in the 2019 ALCS. The biggest center of attention in the 2019 incident was when Altuve refused to remove his jersey.

Later, people alleged that the second baseman was wearing something like an electronic buzzer to steal signs. Later, in 2021, Martin Maldonado slugged a 371-foot homer over the Yankees captain’s head. After doing so, he pointed at his unbottoned jersey to mock Aaron Judge because of the previous game’s incident. In the post-game interview, Maldonado gave different reasons for his gesture, saying that he was trying to get some air inside his shirt because it was a little hot. However, it was not the end of the indirect gestures between Maldonado and Aaron Judge.

After Maldonado blasted the home run, Tim Locastro, the outfielder, propelled the NY side to a 2-1 lead. Even Tim blasted another home run in the opposite field. But things got a bit interesting from there on. It is because when the outfielder reached the Yankees dugout, Tim draped himself into a jacket.

Later, Aaron Judge discussed what happened in the post-game interview. Again, the Yankees captain tried to be indirect and gave different reasons. Moreover, Aaron Judge mentioned that when the staff closes the roof there, it gets a little chilly. Hence, the Yankees captain told his teammates to button up a little bit.
