Since then, Max Verstappen has been an unstoppable force. On the other hand, there is a weird rumor floating around the grid regarding Verstappen moving to Mercedes. Can Max Verstappen And Lewis Hamilton Be Teammates Someday?
Recently, Max Verstappen, in an interview with De Telegraaf, mentioned that it is not even under consideration. Moreover, Max added that when he started racing, he wanted to race for a top team in Formula One. But never did he imagine accomplishing so much glory. Moreover, Max Verstappen replied to comments where people called the sport getting boring because of him. He seemed totally unperturbed and said he knows very well how it feels to be on the other side. Adding to that, Verstappen mentioned he does not find the sport boring.
But would he make adjustments to be teammates with Lewis Hamilton in the future? He did not dismiss the idea completely. Moreover, Max Verstappen feels it is essential to be true to oneself. He noted that if a team is desperate to sign him, then they will put in some extra effort. The Red Bull ace believes then he can adapt himself to different things to a certain extent. The new team and the driver must meet halfway through the contract negotiation, as per Max Verstappen.
An Unstoppable Force Is What The Red Bull Driver Has Been
The 25-year-old Dutchman won a record 15 Grands Prix in the previous year. Later this year, he maintained his consistency from the very beginning of the season. Up till the summer break, Verstappen has won ten Grands Prix already. He can surely break his own record of most wins in a season. Moreover, Verstappen can become the first driver to win 20 races a season since ten more GP are remaining.
Additionally, there are not many drivers who came close to beating Verstappen this season. Albeit, Sergio Perez, Max’s teammate, was able to beat him twice this season. If Checo can win more races this season, it can be very interesting at the end. However, at present, there is only one dominant driver in the grid. Moreover, it is clear that Red Bull will be the winner of the constructor title this year. They have won all 12 races so far.
