While the slugger skipped the Mexico trip, he is all but ready for the highly anticipated opening series against the Houston Astros. Moments before the New York Yankees flew to Houston for their opening-day game against the Astros, captain Aaron Judge sent a strong message to the fans. He plans on toning down the chatter and letting the performance on the field make a statement. “I can sit here and explain a lot of things, but it comes down to us going out there and doing it,” said Judge.
Aaron Judge further added that the roster is in good spirits. From pitchers to hitters to catchers, everybody has come together nicely this spring. It’s time now to execute the plan on the field and ensure a deep postseason run after a disastrous run in 2023. “We got to let our game speak for itself, and that’s what we plan on doing this year,” added Judge.
