Having said that, WFAN radio host Brandon Tierney called Judge the greatest New York athlete he ever witnessed in his lifetime and drew comparisons with legend Babe Ruth. “Aaron Judge goes out there every night, and he looks like a video game,” Brandon said.
He added that with age, while some athletes witness regression, Aaron Judge is only refining his skills each year. That is what sets him apart from the rest. However, MLB fans begged to disagree with Tierney’s assessment. They called out the captain’s empty trophy cabinet. Notably, the New York Yankees haven’t won a World Series championship in 14 years, and despite Judge’s heroics, the team hasn’t succeeded in crossing the finish line despite coming close multiple times. New York is a city rich in sports history, home to legendary figures like Babe Ruth, Derek Jeter, Lawrence Taylor, and many others. Hence, fans argue that while Judge is one of the best players of his generation, he has yet to achieve the championship pedigree as these legends.

Meanwhile, Aaron Judge has forced his biggest haters and critics to stand up and applaud his extraordinary swings on the plate. Recently, former Red Sox great and renowned Yankee hater David Ortiz endorsed the New York Yankees captain as a special beast with all the tools on the plate.
“He’s at another level body-wise. He’s just special,” Ortiz said. Notably, Ortiz also credited Juan Soto for adding a spark to the Yankees’ dead offense.
