However, the franchise is somehow confident of a second-half resurgence as they still are seated just one game behind the Orioles in the AL-East standings. Moreover, with the August 1 trade deadline approaching, the front office is also working day and night to sort out ideal and reasonable options. Meanwhile, at the All-Star game, Yankees captain Aaron Judge was asked to reveal his expectations from the front office related to the trade deadline.
Aaron Judge started by saying that the New York Yankees have a reputation and they will always strive to put the team in the best position possible. Juan Soto Keeps His Promise To Judge At The All-Star Game!
New York Yankees powerhouse duo Aaron Judge and Juan Soto featured in the All-Star game as starting outfielders. They were up against National League starting pitcher Paul Skenes, and Soto made a promise to Judge ahead of the game to get him on base to face Skenes in what could be a matchup of ages.
And interestingly, Juan Soto kept his promise as he walked in the bottom of the first innings to pave the way for Aaron Judge to take stride against Skenes. While Judge didn’t succeed in doing any damage, the duo’s brotherhood at the All-Star game was adorable and heartwarming. They undoubtedly owned the All-Star stage with their presence.
