Aaron Judge has become one of the biggest names in baseball right now. He has achieved a lot since his debut in MLB for the New York Yankees back in 2017. Moreover, the California Native has won the Most Valued Player award in 2022. He was able to break the all-time American League single-season home run record of Roger Maris (61 HRs in 1961). The outfielder was able to reach the 62 Home Run mark back in 2022. As a result, he deserved to win the AL MVP that year. Then, he signed one of the biggest free-agent contracts with the Bronx Bombers. The Yankees signed Judge for a nine-year contract extension worth $360 million.

Later, they made him the 16th captain in their franchise history. Hence, Aaron Judge succeeded Derek Jeter as the Yankees captain. Coming back to the 2024 season, the California Native is on his way to winning another AL MVP. He is enjoying a terrific season. Moreover, Judge leads the league in several offensive categories, such as the most HR table. Other than his wish is to lead the Yankees to their 28th World Series title, the 2022 AL MVP is also keen to represent Team USA in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

This year, Paris, France is hosting the Summer Games. Four years later, Los Angeles, USA, will host the Olympics. Baseball can make a return to the Summer Games in 2028. Previously, MLB did not allow the players of the major league teams to participate in the Summer Games. However, at present, Rob Manfred, the MLB commissioner, did not rule out that possibility completely. He has cited the interests of the game’s biggest stars like Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Bryce Harper and others, as major factors not to rule that possibility out. If the opportunity arises, then Aaron ‘All Rise’ Judge would like to participate in the event. Recently, in an interview with The New York Post, the number 99 of the Pinstripes expressed his enthusiasm for representing his national team. He told the Post that he would love to play if MLB allows the major league players to participate in the Summer Games.

Adding to that, Aaron Judge mentioned that he doesn’t really know about any rules regarding that which has come out. But he said, “I’m all in” to represent Team USA. The 2022 AL MVP will turn 36 in 2028. Regarding his age being an issue to participate in that event, Judge noted, “You get very few opportunities to do that.” Moreover, the Yankees captain said, “But if I get that chance, hopefully during the prime of my career, to make an impact, I’d love to do that.” Finally, Aaron Judge added that he never really got the call to play for his national side. Hence, he hopes, “Now, I can make the cut for those Team USA camps.”

These guys have hit 40 or more home runs in three separate seasons wearing the Pinstripes. However, the California Native had a very slow start to the current season. He was averaging .197 back in early May. Since then, Judge clearly managed to turn things around spectacularly well.
