Aaron Judge and Juan Soto are gradually becoming the most lethal duo in baseball ever. They have helped the New York Yankees dominate in the last six games. Moreover, this incredible hitting duo is the reason why the NY side is enjoying an impressive record of 43-19. However, the Yankees captain initially scared the fans with a very slow start. He took seven games to hit his first home run in the ongoing season. Moreover, there were doubts regarding his fitness. The 2022 AL MVP had a freak accident at the Los Angeles Dodgers fence in 2023. Initially, it looked like a simple toe injury. But then it turned out to be a torn ligament. As a result, the Bronx Bombers missed their captain for 35 games in a row.

Later, before the spring training this year, Aaron Judge said that he would be required to take constant maintenance of his injured toe for the rest of his career. Adding to that, during spring training, Judge had an abs injury. As a result, he missed quite a few Grapefruit League games. All these factors added to his slow start to the 2024 regular season. He took a month to get back to his groove. But from May, Aaron Judge started to look like the same 2022 MVP-like hitter. Now, the way things stand, Judge and his partner in baseball crime are both favorites to grab the 2024 AL MVP.

According to WFAN Sports Radio’s Evan, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto are feeding off each other this summer. Moreover, the Bronx Bombers continue to roll. On top of that, Evan says that fans are ready to see a friendly battle between the two superstar hitters for the American League Most Valued Player this year. Currently, Aaron Judge is leading list of most home runs this season so far in the league. The Dominican superstar is also among the top 5 on that list. Moreover, Evan said both Judge and Soto have been so good. They have a great chemistry, and in the end, they are feeding off one another. After 61 games, both these superstar hitters are eligible for the MVP title.

But Evan chooses the Dominican superstar. Moreover, the reason for Soto being his choice is simply the consistency throughout the season. Evan says Judge was slumping earlier in the season. That’s true, and hence, it gives Juan Soto the edge over the Yankees captain. Albeit, Soto has been the more consistent guy among the two, Evan says, “It’s just gonna be fun.” Moreover, every game, night or day, it feels like it is a one-up between Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, the WFAN host.

It is tough for the pitchers when they have to throw at Juan Soto and Aaron Judge back to back. These are the two best hitters in the game. They can be as explosive as it can get. When they don’t click, there is Giancarlo Stanton, who can hit the ball a long way. Clearly, the Yankees are enjoying the services of the most potent offense in the MLB right now.

After a slow start in the 2024 regular season, the Yankees captain is looking like the same old Judge, again, who hit 62 home runs in 2022. Now, he is leading the league with 21 home runs. Juan Soto has hit 17 home runs so far. But that’s not it, as the first-year Yankee has been contributing to getting on bases, RBIs, OPS, and whatnot. Clearly, he has been the most impactful hitter in the Bronx right now.
