The New York Yankees are currently leading MLB in best 52-28 record. Despite losing three series on the trot, the franchise is confident of comfortably advancing to the next stage, which is the postseason. It’s safe to say that the Yanks are also aiming for the ultimate championship glory.

That being said, with a sensational first half of the season, the New York Yankees will likely see a widespread representation at the All-Star game. As the first phase of All-Star voting nears its conclusion, Aaron Judge has emerged as a frontrunner, leading a strong contingent of New York Yankees players making a significant impact in the voting tallies. As per BuildSubmarines.com’s trend, Judge and Juan Soto are leading in the outfielders category, with only 240,000 votes separating them. Moreover, as phase 2 goes on floors, the vote gap is expected to reduce further. Additionally, Alex Verdugo is also placed at no.7 with 512,766 ballot votes. Besides the outfielders, the Yanks had a surprise in first base, with Anthony Rizzo leading at no.4 in the first base list. Notably, Rizzo has witnessed a horror start to the season before enduring an arm fracture. Hence, his name on the list left the fans surprised.

Moving on, the New York Yankees also have representation in the third base, catcher, and designated hitter categories. While Oswaldo Cabrera has fetched 364,667 votes at third base, Jose Trevino and Giancarlo Stanton are also placed in the top five with 388,072 and 717,023, respectively. Last but not the least, Anthony Volpe is ranked third in the shortstop list with 537,398, only third to Gunnar Henderson and Bobby Witt Jr.

The strong showing by these Yankees players in the All-Star voting is a reflection of their individual achievements and the overall strength of the team. As the first phase of voting draws to a close, the support from fans demonstrates their appreciation for the players’ contributions and the exciting brand of baseball the Yankees have brought to the field this season. Phase 2 will commence this Sunday as the competition gets fierce amongst the selected contenders.

New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge had to be the bigger person this year as he gave up his right-field spot to accommodate Juan Soto. Judge moved to the centre field willingly despite injury risks associated with that outfield position. However, the slugger couldn’t care less, as his teammates are his priority.

While talking to Ken Rosenthal, Aaron Judge revealed that he loves the view from the centre field. The captain added that when the Yankees traded Juan Soto and Alex Verdugo, he confirmed his willingness to Aaron Boone to adjust anywhere in the field to accommodate the two newcomers and ensure that they get comfortable with the new surroundings.
