Celtics’ Jason Tatum & Jaylen Brown Embarrassed After Record Loss Against Thunder!

Celtics

The Boston Celtics are the most elite of the elite in both conference tables of the NBA league this year. The last year’s finalist sits at the top of the Eastern Conference table with remarkable form. It looks like the Celtics are going to finish the task they failed to do in the last year’s final. However, they were with an unfortunate loss against the 12th position holders in Western Conference. The Celtics went into the game underprepared, as they conceded a huge defeat of 150-117 from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As the name would suggest, Oklahoma City rained Thunder over the table toppers last night. It appears that the Celtics’ consistency and focus are finally wearing off as the season ages. Boston’s defense was so weak that they allowed the five thunder players to score more than 20 points for their team. Along with other players who scored 20 plus points, Josh Giddy led them, cutting his season-high 25 points. Meanwhile, Isaiah Joe, Tre Mann, and Jalan Williams all equally contributed 21 points to humiliate the table toppers.

Celtics Underestimates The Oklahoma Thunder City

Oklahoma City’s star guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s absence made the Celtics happy to take them over. However, the Thunder pulled one over them instead. The SGA is currently the most feared guard in the NBA who is averaging 30.8 points per game. And to compensate for the superstar’s absence due to illness, it took a team effort to tackle the best team in the NBA. Meanwhile, the Celtics were led by Jaylen Brown, who was very disappointed after the game. He scored 29 points with 61% shooting alongside his dual Jayson Tatum, who managed 27 points with six rebounds on the night.

Even the most dynamic in the league was unable to counter the team effort of Oklahoma City. Following the win, they are ahead of the Lakers to find themselves in 12th position on the table. On the other hand, Boston is still at the pinnacle with the best record in the league. The Celtics’ head coach Mazzulla said that the team needed to be ready for every challenge, but they were not. He further added that his team was outplayed in every aspect, which was unexpected.

Celtics

The Boston Celtics have lost 12 games since the season started. And they have lost two consecutive games recently, but they still manage their table leader supremacy. However, they could soon see a downfall if they keep slipping up. The Celtics could get ready for their next game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. But the Mavericks are riding the high horses of seven consecutive wins, which could be a tough challenge for the Boston side. If they are not careful, it could be their first three straight losses of the season.
