Carlos Rodon- Yankees

After Aaron Judge, Carlos Rodon was the only free agent for whom the Bronx Bombers would go insane. However, several chances for retaining the outfielder free agents in the team got ruined because of Yankees fans, as they never stop showing how unpleased they are. The fans were apparently dissatisfied, which eventually was visible as they started booing Rodon during the ALCS.

It was not the first time that the New York baseball team’s fans went loud to show how unsatisfied they are. One can remember October when guttural noises emanated from the crowd, even though it was a fateful week. Some of the drunk fans could not enjoy anything and goes to boo even Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, and now also Carlos Rodon. However, these voices could never de-motivate the team’s manager. Instead, it made him realize how important it is to ensure a good match every season.

Yankees chairman Hal Steinbrenner still threw the most expensive contract to Aaron Judge. They also made him the captain after 8 years since when Derek Jetter retired. Anthony Rizzo signed the contract way before Judge, yet he was offered the deal after the season got over, probably because of the October boos. However, it does not matter as now the team successfully has got all the best players to cover all sides of the field.

Carlos Rodon Replies TOO WELL To Those Who BOOS

For the shameful boos of Yankees fans that took place after the hiring of Carlos Rodon, not much od unexpected things have happened. Rodon is probably one of those who already expect the same if he fails to do well in pitch. It is so expected kind of thing for Carlos that he said, “I hope they boo my kids too.”

For Carlos Rodon, it is normal to have such a thing. “It is a part of the game,” said the player. The above statement came after Jake Mintz, the host of Jordan Shusterman, discussed Rodon’s kids in a press conference. The host asked, if your kids don’t do well, they will also get booed. It is a part of the package that a player gets in baseball. Rodon agreeably said, “Yes, that is just how things work in baseball.”

Indeed those boos do not feel good. But once one gets used to it, no one can hurt them anymore. Carlos Rodon is one of those acceptors. Now no bullying can affect him. For the bold statement given by the new Yankee, the good part of the fans are praising him. Jake Maltese also stated via Twitter, “Carlos Rodon was just born to be a Yankee.”

Carlos Rodon indeed replied too well to all those critics. When he said, “Sometimes the fans might boo, which is okay because, this is what we are signed up for.” It definitely must have burned those who actually boos just after a bad pitch.
