New York Yankees captain, Aaron Judge, stepped up for his team at the most crucial stage of the series. He went for a single in his first at-bat, which took his on-base streak to a career-high of 42 long games. Two innings later, he hit the first homer of the game off Tyler Wells straight to the center field and took the lead to 2-0. However, the slugger was in absolute beast mode and showed no sign of stopping. In the next inning, he launched another solo home run to the left of center and put the Yanks in a commanding lead of 5-2.

With this, Aaron Judge recorded his all-time career-high 28th multi-home run game. Not only that, Judge’s tally of home runs against the Orioles has reached 36. When asked about his highly aggressive gameplay, the slugger said the Baltimore pitchers are highly competitive and bring out the best in him. They throw their A stuff at him, and he tries to bring his A swing to tackle those deliveries. Further, Judge added the tone is set just right for him this season. He trusts his allies Anthony Rizzo and DJ Leahieu and focuses on reading the pitches as quickly as possible.

Judge Poised For Acing The Impossible Task

Aaron Judge received high fives in the dugout following his home run

Meanwhile, in nine games played so far, Yankees captain Aaron Judge has scored three homers already. At this stage last season, he had only one home run to his name in nine appearances. Despite he went on to script history by breaking the all-time homer record held by Roger Maris. Hence, fans are optimistic that at this pace, Judge can ace the impossible task of recreating the 62-home run season and beyond.

Speaking on it, Yankees skipper Aaron Boone said Aaron Judge’s this season stats look far better than the monumental last one. Moreover, Judge’s fellow teammate, Nestor Cortes, also backed the slugger to break the 62-home run mark this season. To conclude, Aaron Judge has had a perfect start to the season, and if he continues to maintain this, if not better, he still stands a chance to script history once again.
