Several important rotation players have missed games for the Lakers this season. This has happened because of the ailments that have plagued them in the early going. Despite having a painful left knee, LeBron James is expected to play against the Jazz on Friday night. Due to discomfort in his lower back, Anthony Davis is categorized as doubtful.

In case of Davis\’ or LeBron\’s absence from the game, Russell Westbrook will suddenly become very important for the Lakers\’ success. The point guard has been adjusting well to the role the team has assigned him. Russell showed glimpses of form in the game against the Nuggets, and Lakers fans will have high expectations from him.

Due to UCL injuries, neither Dennis Schroder nor Thomas Bryant has worn a Lakers uniform this season. After going 5-0 to begin the season, the Lakers were the last club to win. However, after putting guard Russell Westbrook on the bench, they have defeated the Nuggets and the Pelicans twice.
