Aaron revealed Rizzo stepped right into the leadership role effortlessly from day one, which came as a surprise to the slugger. Judge added that Rizzo’s leadership quality is something he picked up a lot while playing together.
Anthony Rizzo Convinced Judge To Stay With The Yanks
The bromance between Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo goes a long way. It all started in 2021 when Rizzo stepped foot in the Yankees bullpen. The slugger revealed in the talk show that it was actually Rizzo who convinced him to stay with the Bombers. Aaron said Rizzo called and texted him every day in pursuit and even sent dog pictures.
