Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, is an ambassador of Formula One worldwide. The Briton is known for his charm and exceptional racing skills, which have earned him millions of global fans. Since his debut with McLaren, the 39-year-old racer has paved the path towards greatness, etching his name into F1 history books.

Since the 2021 Championship, Hamilton has been out of color. While a teaser of his abilities was seen in a couple of races this season, it completely contrasts his dominant era. Lewis Hamilton Got “Pleasantly Surprised” At Kamala Harris’s Enthusiasm For Formula One

Formula 1 has seen a surge in popularity in the United States, largely due to the Netflix series Drive to Survive. Launched in 2019, the show provides fans with an inside look at the sport, focusing on the drivers’ personalities and behind-the-scenes drama. The series became a massive hit during the pandemic, drawing in a new wave of fans eager to follow the high-speed action on circuits around the world.

One of those new fans is Democratic Party Presidential nominee and current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris. During an appearance on the “Howard Stern Show,” Harris shared that she and her family are enthusiastic about F1. Although her schedule has kept her from watching as much lately, especially with her campaign obligations, she expressed her deep appreciation for the sport. When asked about her favorite driver, she named Lewis Hamilton, adding that he’s leaving Mercedes and encouraging others to check out the series, as it can easily get viewers hooked.

Lewis Hamilton expressed his delight upon learning that Kamala Harris is a fan of Formula 1. He found it quite surreal and somewhat unbelievable that the White House might be tuning in to watch Grand Prix races. Hamilton’s reaction reflects the growing influence and popularity of the sport, particularly in the United States, and highlights the unexpected connections between high-profile figures and the racing community.

Lewis Hamilton recently discussed the challenges teams face when introducing upgrades to their cars, emphasizing the unpredictability of how well these changes will perform immediately. He reflected on his experience from the previous year at the same circuit, where he found the car’s balance to be nearly perfect without needing significant adjustments.

However, he acknowledged that this is rarely the case, noting that teams must deal with difficulties when implementing upgrades more often than not. Hamilton pointed out that the pressure to get upgrades right places a greater emphasis on simulations during the development process. He expressed optimism that, after learning from past mistakes, the team will be able to start the weekend with a better foundation for their performance.
