Daniel Ricciardo, known for his infectious smile, sharp wit, and deep passion for racing, is a superstar in motorsport. Throughout his 13-year career, he has achieved 32 podium finishes and secured eight victories. Affectionately nicknamed the “Honey Badger,” Ricciardo added a unique Australian touch to Formula 1 with his signature “shoey,” a quirky tradition of drinking champagne from his sweaty racing boot after each win.

Following a solid tenure with Red Bull and Renault, he joined McLaren but was later replaced by Oscar Piastri. Ricciardo then made his way back to the Red Bull family, specifically to the team known as VCARB. However, his return was marked by a disappointing performance, as his teammate Yuki Tsunoda frequently outshone him. Despite this, he remained a potential candidate to partner with Max Verstappen. Recently, VCARB officially confirmed Liam Lawson as Ricciardo’s replacement for the remainder of the season. This announcement prompted the Formula 1 community to thank Ricciardo for the unforgettable moments he contributed to the sport as he concluded his illustrious racing career.
