Aaron Judge and Juan Soto have been performing at their very best in 2024. It is a great news for the New York Yankees that the best hitters in the league are playing for them and at their very best. Both these sluggers of the NY side keep proving that they are among the modern-day greats. As a one-two punch, they keep demolishing defenses and make things uncomfortable for several opponent pitchers. Lately, the Colorado Rockies were on the receiving end of the Judge-Soto duo’s demolition. Adding to them, Giancarlo Stanton and Gleyber Torres had joined the party as well. The fans in the Bronx believe that this lethal offensive duo can bring back the championship home.

They can end the 15-year-long wait for fans of the Pinstripes all over the world. Individually speaking, Aaron Judge is on a roller coaster ride this year despite a slow start to the season. He had to deal with some abs injury scare early in the season. But since May, the Yankees captain took the league by storm with his epic home run-hitting show. As of now, he has hit 51 homers and is on pace to break his own AL HR record (62 HRs). However, it is not right to ignore the epic season Juan Soto is enjoying as well.

Future Hall Of Famer Justin Verlander’s brother, Ben, said that Aaron Judge is overshadowing Juan Soto’s epic season. On his YouTube channel, Flippin’ Bats with Ben Verlander, the host mentioned, “We are not even really talking about Juan Soto’s .300 hitting average, with almost 40 home runs and on-base percentage, as usual, going through the roof.” Moreover, the host also pointed out that Soto is leading the league in walks and has had his career-best season so far in terms of his single-season HRs. However, Ben Verlander says that it is not even a bad thing because Aaron Judge is doing so good that it does not really matter what others are doing in the American League.

Nonetheless, the Yankees will need both these superstar sluggers to continue doing what they have been doing. But there is no doubt that the most dominant player this season in the AL is Aaron Judge and in the National League is Shohei Ohtani. Both Judge and Ohtani are again favorites to win the Most Valued Players. However, unlike in the last three years, Judge and Ohtani are fighting in the MVP race in two different leagues this year.

Recently, Shohei Ohtani joined the exclusive club of 40-40. He recorded the fastest numbers to hit 40 home runs as well as 40 stolen bases in a single season. The 2021 and 2023 AL MVP is again on the race to win MVP, but this time in the NL. The LA Dodgers fans are looking up to the Unicorn to lead them to a World Series championship.

On the other hand, the Yankees captain is leaving no stone unturned to make it easy for his team to qualify for the postseason. Aaron Judge is leading the league in several offensive categories, including, Homers, RBIs, and also OPS. He is second in the league in terms of batting average. Moreover, in the outfield lately, it has been looking like there’s no one better than Judge as a center fielder.
