Interestingly, the ex-team president also downplayed the slugger’s strong start in Yankee uniform while predicting an immediate regression at the Yankee Stadium. “In Miami, it gets ignored with one camera. In New York, you’re on the back page of The Post. So be careful what you wish for,” Samson concluded.
