While it appears that he has lost his charm, it would take just one winter to regain everything he has lost. Stanton feels that he does not necessarily need to undergo major changes. Tweaking minor mechanics would do the job just right. “It’s only a few tweaks, as long as they’re the right tweaks,” clarified the Yankees hitter. He also emphasized the importance of timing, which has remained an issue this year. Having said that, Stanton, who is under Yankees contract till 2027, is confident of bouncing back in 2024 and intends to come out stronger and better than ever.
