Bader said that while he would love to return to New York, he also wants to be a part of a winning unit. And presently, the Yanks don’t seem to be one. Having said that, the outfielder went on to appreciate the Yankee organization. He said that the Bombers have been winning for years, and good people have surrounded him.
But if the situation changes, he is ready to explore options. “We’ll just let the chips fall where they do,” Bader said. The outfielder has hit .249 with seven homers, 37 RBIs, and .668 OPS in 79 games this season. He understands that MLB is a result-based world, and his offensive numbers this season are not where they should be. Hence, with whatever time’s left in the last stretch, Harrison Bader intends to improve his offense to put the Yankees in a position to win. Bombers Loose Strong Outfielder Amid Abnormal Season
It seems the notion of players losing confidence in the New York Yankees could be true after all. Recently, the team designated outfielder Greg Allen to assignment to make roster space for young prospects. Regardless, the club did offer Allen a minor league deal with Triple-A to return to the organization. However, to much surprise, the outfielder ditched the team.
Greg Allen refused the Yankees minor league offer and instead elected free agency. He wants to restart his MLB journey with a new team. The outfielder’s short stint with the Yanks has been filled with injuries and inconsistencies. He joined the team in the summer but couldn’t really leave a mark.
