To make their rotations best, the team offered Aaron Judge their most expensive career-ending deal to date. In front of the San Deigo Padres, the Yankees could match Judge’s demand, but luckily they had the slugger’s legacy. As a result, Aarong Judge, the 62 homers, returned back in the team.
They made Carlos Rodon a Yankee, got Anthony Rizzo back, and did many more changes. But, somehow, the Bronx Bombers missed having the left fielders yet. The trade deadline is not yet arrived and so say that the chances are not missed yet. The unforeseen upgrades that the Yankees still can have is the top priority for the team at present. According to Jack Curry and Michael Kay, the Yankees lack in having left fielders on the roster. Maybe the team will look after what they can do with Aaron Hicks. In Thursday’s edition of the Hot Stove YES show, Michael Kay suggested Yankees can solve their problem by wiping their hands off of Rafael Ortega and Willie Calhoun.
No! The Yankees Don’t Have The Best Rotations Yet. They Lack In A Strong Left Field
Kay said, “The left-field work of Yankees is in progress. I think that the left fielder for the majority of the season is not on the team right now.” So what should the Yankees do? Probably go to the Pirates and ask for the trade of Bryan Reynolds. But he is not an easy take; the Pirates already love him, and he has three seasons in control. Reynolds is not available in the market.
Speaking about Bryan Reynolds, Curry and Kay believe that there is no way the Pirates gonna deal with one of their best-left fielders. And the only deal that can tempt them is the Yankees coming off with their three top prospects. Curry believes that it is not something that may happen. He said, ” Recently, there have been no substantial conversations between the teams.”
And at present, the worst happening for the Bronx Bombers is that the pirates are very much into making Reynolds their prime member. He was probably the most important player for the team when the Yankees offered to trade with him. As a matter of fact, Pirates do not need to treat their players in a way that is beneficial for them. So yes, the Yankees would have the best rotation, but as one can suspect, a grey area in the left side of the field, they don’t. Until they make the left fielder strong, the Yankees can’t say they have the best roster yet.
