Thus, keeping Benintendi would be beneficial to the Pinstripes.

Prior to missing time in September due to a fractured hamate bone, he played 33 games with the Yankees. And hit just.254/.331/.404 with two home runs and 12 RBI. Benintendi\’s potential comeback during the team\’s postseason run was something New York was hoping for. However, Andrew Benintendi could not re-enter the lineup. New York looked for Andrew Benintendi to maybe make a comeback during the team\’s playoff run. Aaron Hicks and maybe Giancarlo Stanton would have to be used in combination in left field if the Yankees didn\’t keep Andrew Benintendi, which isn\’t the best option. The squad with different power sources and a true World Series contender would be the ideal destination for him.
