In last night\’s game against Tampa Bay Rays, the Yankees registered a remarkable win. Gleyber Torres was the star of the show as he hit two home runs and the Yankees won the series.

Gleybor Hits Two Homers Against Rays!

Gleyber Torres experienced one of his career\’s worst slumps last month, which began with trade speculations around his name. However, for the infielder, September has been a lot more encouraging. The second baseman hit two home runs when the Yankees beat the Rays 10-4 on Sunday in the Bronx due to rain. Torres\’ second game ended with two or more home runs this season and his second in as many games with two or more hits.

In the first inning, Torres hit a three-run home run; in the second, he hit a solitary drive. The Bombers triumphed for the sixth time in eight games thanks to RBIs from Giancarlo Stanton and youngster Oswaldo Cabrera. They currently lead the American League East by 5 1/2 games. DJ LeMahieu Hopes To Return To Yankees During Next Homestand!

DJ LeMahieu has been out of the Yankees Bullpen owing to a toe injury. Meanwhile, the second baseman has a date in mind for when he intends to come off the injured list. The seasoned infielder is still hopeful that he will return this year as a valuable player, maybe as soon as the team\’s subsequent homestand. Moreover, LeMahieu revealed on Sunday that he is feeling better with rest and therapy after being placed on the IL with persistent toe irritation last week. He expects to return to the field relatively near to full fitness. And fans are also waiting to have him back with the Bombers.
