However, the New York Yankees do not seem to be willing to let go of their star player. Previously, Aaron Judge rejected the Yankees\’ seven-year, $213.5 million extension offer. And now, the team\’s president Brian Cashman referred to the slugger\’s bet on himself as \”an all-time best bet\”. Judge\’s response was one of the greatest offensive seasons in history. 

The general manager of the Yankees is aware that Judge\’s asking price would rise significantly after he set a new home run record for the American League and his team and helped the Yankees win the AL East. While talking to the press, Cashman stated, \”There\’s a pot of gold there. It\’s yet to be determined how much it weighs. But it\’s a pot of gold, no doubt about it\”. He also reinstated that the team is aiming to win the bidding for Aaron Judge, that too for a long duration.

Following a season in which he set both American League and team records with 62 home runs, Judge is likely to win MVP this year. Shohei Ohtani had a tremendous dual-purpose season with the Angels. But Aaron Judge is still the favorite to win his first AL MVP award and is expected to enter free agency after the World Series. 

The Yankees won the American League East under his leadership. Therefore, knowing what is pretty evident, it is certain that there will be no shortage of suitors for Aaron Judge after the end of the season. However, it remains to be seen where the star will find himself in the next season.
