The New York Yankees have a lot of expectations from Jasson Dominguez. But things seemed to take a hit last season as the top prospect got injured. The previous year has not been kind to the Bronx Bombers. There have been so many injuries that the team had to deal with. Moreover, the offense of the team let them down in 2023. Key players like Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo had to miss several games owing to injuries. Even Giancarlo Stanton had been dealing with injury concerns in the last few seasons. This weak fitness level of the players in the Bronx really messed up their season.

As a result, the Yankees failed to make the postseason for the first time since 2016. Moreover, the 82-80 record hurt and disappointed the fans as well as the team. Even Gerrit Cole said during the spring training, “The wound is still fresh.” Anyway, the 2024 regular season has been so far great for the NY side. They had a great start and after almost two months, the Yankees have solidified their place on the top of the American League East Division. Lately, a good news came along for the Yankees Faithful, regarding Jasson Dominguez’s recovery.
