LeBron James Bronny James

LeBron is one of the most gifted and dominating players the NBA has seen in this generation. His prolific career has spanned over two decades. Still, the power forward is ruling basketball at the highest level, even at such an advanced age. LeBron has several times gone on record saying that he would like to play alongside his eldest son Bronny James before retiring from the sport. However, with Bronny still playing in high school, it might take longer for him to enter NBA than LeBron\’s hopes.

Bronny James Could Take Years For His NBA Debut!

LeBron James has made no secret of his admiration for his son\’s basketball abilities, and he has repeatedly stated that he would like to play in the NBA, either with or against him in the future. It makes sense that Bronny James first gained notoriety when he was young. Being the son of one of the greatest basketball players in history will undoubtedly garner attention.

However, recent reports indicate that Bronny is not yet a finished product. Since he started playing basketball, the senior from Sierra Canyon has been expected to make the league as soon as he can. Scottie Pippen\’s son Justin and Penny Hardaway\’s son Ashton both play basketball for his school\’s basketball team as well, making it somewhat of a haven for such illustrious personalities.

For years, Bronny has been referred to as a possible collegiate standout and possibly an NBA prospect. His father has made it obvious that he wants to be a member of his son\’s team. According to 247 Sports and ESPN, the 18-year-old is now listed as the 45th and 34th top recruit, respectively. Among his rumored admirers are Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina.

But as per the current scenario, Bronny would not be able to enter the NBA draft until 2024, the year he is expected to receive his high school diploma. His ability to succeed at the professional level was reportedly called into question by a number of NCAA coaches and evaluators, according to The Athletic. Eight coaches examined Bronny, and two NBA scouts watched him play. The Athletic spoke with these coaches. They revealed that the guard would need some time to catch up to NBA standards.

Bronny And LeBron James

Meanwhile, King James is determined to continue his brilliant career in order to join Bronny in the NBA. James has stated he will take any necessary measures to continue playing till his son is selected for the draft. Lately, NBA proposed a rule change that might make Bronny eligible for the draft in 2023. As a result, many people hoped that LeBron\’s wish would come true. However, only time will tell if it actually occurs on schedule or not.
