Los Angeles Lakers entered the game against the Suns on Tuesday with the hopes of continuing their streak of three consecutive wins. However, it was not the night for the team in gold and purple. Even though Anthony Davis played his heart out, the Suns topped the Lakers with 115-105. However, it was not the highlight of the day. Point Guard Patrick Beverley, who has been unable to perform for the team, made the headlines for an unwanted reason. During the game, Beverley was ejected by the referee after he pushed DeAndre Ayton onto the ground.

Patrick Beverley Ejected After Tussle With DeAndre Ayton!

The rivalry between the two teams of the Western Conference LA Lakers and Phoenix Suns is not a new one in the NBA. And last night, a new chapter was added to this intense feud between the two teams. On Tuesday night, the Phoenix Suns ended the Lakers\’ three-game-long winning streak by defeating them by 115-105. Meanwhile, the nastiest moment of the game came in the fourth quarter.

With less than four minutes remaining in the match, the Suns were leading the scoreboard by 106-96. That was when Devin Booker was called for a foul on Austin Reaves. While attempting to block Reaves, Devin struck him in the face. This resulted in the young star hitting the ground. Soon after Austin hit the ground, Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton stood over him, taunting. However, Lakers Point guard Patrick Beverley wasn\’t going to take this laying down. He came back running behind and charged Ayton, who then fell out of bounds.

As soon as DeAndre was back on his feet, he looked to go after Beverley. But the big man Anthony Davis came in his way. And before anyone could know, it was a full-blown kerfuffle between the two teams. The official quickly rushed in to de-escalate things. As a punishment for his act of aggression, the referee ejected Patrick from the remainder of the game.

Beverley was making her way to the showers even before the officials made their announcement. The point guard for the Lakers was aware of the impending expulsion. This incident is a clear example of why Patrick Beverley is loved by his teammates and hated by his opponents. He is like a bulldog who will charge at absolutely anyone to defend the ones he loves.

Mikal Bridges and Devin Booker each contributed 25 points to the score in the game at the same time. The Lakers, who have lost all of their road games without LeBron James due to injury, were led by Anthony Davis, who finished with 37 points, 21 rebounds, five blocked shots, five steals, and two assists. It has been confirmed that LeBron James will make a comeback on Friday in the match with the San Antonio Spurs.
