Shubman Gill's Struggles Continue in IND vs ENG 3rd Test

Early Dismissal:  Shubman Gill, who recently scored a century in the Hyderabad Test, suffered a setback by getting out for a nine-ball duck on Day 1 of the ongoing IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Rajkot, Gujarat.

Team's Struggle:  India faced early setbacks after opting to bat first, with both Gill and fellow opener Jaiswal falling cheaply, leaving the team struggling at 33/3.

Promising Start:  Despite Rohit Sharma's aggressive batting and the promotion of Jadeja to number five, India managed to stabilize their innings, reaching 93/3 at Lunch on Day 1 after 25 overs.

Test Form Concerns:  Despite success in limited-overs cricket, Gill has struggled to replicate his performance in Test cricket, as evident from his recent scores in the longest format.

Recent Test Innings:  In his last 12 Test innings, Gill has managed only one fifty-plus score, highlighting a concerning dip in form and consistency.

Discomfort at Crease:  Gill appeared unsettled at the crease from the beginning of his innings and eventually fell to Mark Wood's bowling, facing a disappointing early dismissal.

Social Media Reaction:  Fans on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), expressed disappointment and criticism towards Gill's performance, reflecting the scrutiny faced by the young cricketer during this challenging period.
