KL Rahul Set to Return for Fourth Test Against England 

Recovery from Injury:  Batter KL Rahul, who had been sidelined due to a quadriceps injury, is expected to make a comeback for the fourth Test against England in Ranchi starting on February 23. 

Fitness Progress:  Rahul, who missed the second and third Tests due to right quadriceps soreness, has been steadily progressing in his recovery and was reported to be 90 percent fit last week, according to a BCCI source. 

Expected Availability:  With Rahul nearing match fitness, sources suggest that he should be available for selection in the upcoming Ranchi Test against England. 

Previous Performance:  Before his injury, Rahul showcased his batting prowess in the first Test in Hyderabad, emerging as one of India's top batsmen. He has performed well across all formats following a four-month layoff. 

Centurion in South Africa:  During the Test series in South Africa in December, Rahul played a crucial role for India, notably scoring a century in a match that ended in a draw. 

India's Dominance:  India secured their biggest-ever Test victory by defeating England by 434 runs in Rajkot, taking a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, with England faltering in both innings 

England's Challenge:  Following their substantial defeat in Rajkot, England faced their second-biggest Test loss since 1934, highlighting the challenge they face in bouncing back in the remainder of the series.
