Red Bull needs to help its drivers, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, to get back to winning ways. Things are getting more and more difficult in the last few races. McLaren and also Ferrari have closed their gaps with the Austrian team a lot already. If things don’t change, then McLaren can steal the title away from the Milton Keynes outfit this year. After many years of waiting, the British auto racing team can claim the constructor title. Can the duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri do it for the Orange Army and break the Austrian team’s hegemony at the end of this season?

Well, they have already proved that they are faster than Red Bull at present. But can it be enough to get the British team to the top of the standings at the end of this ongoing season? Only time can tell. Lately, Sergio Perez has expressed his view on the current status of the Austrian outfit. He believes his teammate is now experiencing what he has felt inside the car in the last ten races.

Checo said that now Max Verstappen can taste the same misery that he has experienced over the last few months. Recently, RacingNews365 quoted Sergio Perez, saying, “I really feel I’ve been in the same boat for the last ten races, and now Max is fighting the same issues.” All of a sudden, the reigning champion finds himself in the same position as his teammate. It is not an ideal situation for the Dutch racer and the Milton Keynes outfit. However, Perez mentioned that the team has the data to understand where the problems and confusion are. In an interview with Fox Sports Mexico, Max Verstappen has agreed with his teammate, saying, “There is not much difference between mine and Checo’s current situation.”

At present, the two Red Bull drivers are struggling with the same thing. Nonetheless, the Mexican driver seems pretty confident that the Austrian team has the solution at the track and back in the factory. Moreover, Sergio Perez said that the team has produced great cars in the past, and there is no reason why they can’t do it again. He mentioned, “We can sure get back on track, and now, we don’t have questions because we know the problem.” Time is running out for the reigning champions to solidify their place on the top of the standings.

Sergio Perez told RacingNews365 that the problem lies with the balance of the RB20 car. Moreover, Checo added that if the team can find a fix, then they can switch it around. However, at present, there is no respite. As Checo says, “The head is down until we find the solution to our problem.”

Last year, Red Bull enjoyed the fruits of the most dominant F1 car in history – RB19 – later, it turned into a monster. The Austrian team won 21 of 22 races in 2023. Max Verstappen had won 19 of those 21 RBR victories. It was a record-breaking season last year for the Milton Keynes outfit overall. But this year, things seem to fall apart a bit.
