Russell Westbrook

Over the past few weeks, the Russell Westbrook trade saga has been much like a suspense thriller movie. Every time fans think they know where the story is headed, a new twist comes our way. Previously there have been reports that Westbrook may be headed to Indiana Pacers. However, after glimpses of Westbrook redeeming himself in the game against the Denver Nuggets, now, rumors are swirling around Utah Jazz might be interested in acquiring the point guard.

Is Russell Westbrook Going To Utah Jazz?

A recent rumor states that Russell Westbrook trade talks between the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz are likely to resume. Kevin O\’Connor of The Ringer wrote on the possibility of a new round of talks between the Jazz and the Lakers following the offseason speculation around Westbrook.

It\’s unusual for two teams to emerge from a big transaction as winners. The Lakers and Jazz, though, are the ideal partners because, in this particular dance, it takes two to tango. Russell Wilson has appeared worse when wearing a Denver Broncos jersey than Russell Westbrook while wearing a Lakers uniform. That is significant given Wilson\’s dismal season-opening performance as a potential first-ballot NFL Hall of Famer.

The Lakers have resisted completing a deal this season due to several factors. For one thing, the notion is that when clubs complete their first 20 games of the season. They can reassess their odds of succeeding and turning into sellers. The alternative hypothesis is that the offers that are currently on offer aren\’t all that exciting.

According to rumors, the Lakers have agreements that might be reached with Charlotte, Indiana, and Utah. The franchise has chosen to remain unmoved by any of those deals since none look especially tempting. To match salaries, the Jazz could send a number of players to the Lakers. But they would probably demand a sizable amount of draft picks in return. While averaging 9.0 assists per game for the Jazz this season, Mike Conley has yet to develop a reliable shooting stroke. He has a career three-point shooting percentage of 38 percent, so in the upcoming weeks, his averages could rise.
