In a heartbreaking 130-116 home defeat to the visiting Utah Jazz on Friday that L.A. couldn\’t recover from, Westbrook was unquestionably his team\’s MVP. Fans at the Crypto.com Arena made it a point to express their opinions regarding Brodie. At one point during the game, he was taking free throws while the fans sang \”MVP\” at him. Later, during his postgame news conversation, Westbrook was questioned how he felt about suddenly getting into the good graces of L.A.

Westbrook responded by saying, \”I\’m just glad and fortunate, dude.\” He expressed his gratitude and praise to God for enabling him to compete. He just let his play and his efforts speak for themselves, good games and poor, off nights and fantastic ones.

Westbrook\’s comeback may have arrived just in time for the team, and it\’s good to have him back. Nobody predicted that Westbrook would be the one to keep this club afloat. But that\’s what he\’s doing while LeBron James works his way back to full strength. Westbrook appears to have risen from the ashes to resume his position as one of the league\’s greatest guards. It makes sense that they would be so encouraging when Westbrook started doing well again, given how harshly the fans criticized him while he was struggling.

Russell continued his good form on Sunday night when the Lakers played against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Even though the Lakers lost their seventh game of the season, there have been some positive signs for the team. After his ailment and injury issues, King James finally showed his prowess scoring 29 points for the team. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook were the second-highest scorers with 19 points each.
